pickA Spanish nonfiction biography aimed for children, but I think all Frida enthusiasts will enjoy this book. I even learned a few things about her that I didn‘t know. The text is not too heavy, and the illustrations are perfect. Some of Frida‘s art is a little strong, but this book is wonderful at still acknowledging the pain, but not too much as it is a children‘s book. #fridakahlo #mexicanartist #spanishbooks #isabelthomas #mariannamadriz
