This Christian fiction book is like an adorable Hallmark movie! I've read all the books in the series out of order and it still made sense. (I didn't know it was a series until it was too late.)
-Appalachian Trail
-Love Triangle
-Small town scandal
-Reuniting with family
-Making peace with grief

Gaaa. Wish I wouldn't read these so fast. Easy to get draw in and absorbed among a new wonderful set of characters. Eager for Avery's story to come next. Thanks Denise for the wonderful character development and emotions around foster care, blended families, addiction diseases, and extreme loss/grief. It made for authentic storylines and relationship building.

Hunter is an author of contemporary Christian romance books. I‘ve read several of hers, and this is the beginning of a new series. Cooper is a sheriff‘s deputy running for sheriff in the small Appalachian town of Riverbend Gap, NC. While out riding in the mountains he rescues Katelyn (a new local nurse) from a dangerous situation. They have an instant connection. But neither knows that she is his brother‘s new girlfriend…until they meet at a 🔻

robinb family dinner. I enjoyed this one. Other than the obvious complication, he has commitment issues and she has abandonment issues growing up in foster homes. They are both well drawn characters, and even with the forbidden attraction, they strive to do the right thing. 🔻 3y
robinb This is a story of family (both real and those wished for), of courage in the face of persecution and of ultimately trusting in your faith to see you through the tough times. Lots going on here, and I loved it just as I have her previous books. 4.25/5⭐️ 3y
