Following the news that Jacqueline Wilson‘s Tracy Beaker is set to return in a new book in October, I decided to write my newest blog about what it was like for me as a care leaver. Have a read 👍

TrishB Tracy Beaker 💟 I loved reading and watching these with my daughter. A lot of tough issues dealt with excellently. 7y
rockpools @TrishB A first read for me - I'm raiding the education library, catching up on kids' books I've missed, before the PGCE crowd start. 7y

Sad news today. Apparently 10% of households in the U.K. don't have a single book in them 😱. I've always been surrounded by books, but Tracy Beaker was the first book I remember picking for myself. Can any of you remember what your first pick was?

Lmstraubie I remember loving Corduroy when I was little, but the first chapter/series books I remember loving was Trixie Belden. 7y
