Little Poet Edgar Allan Poe: Nevermore! | 
so-soAn intro to Edgar Allan Poe's "Nevermore," this board book has cute gothic illustrations and two sets of text: excerpts from the original poem and a a loose kid-friendly modern translation. The dual texts don't work; sometimes the way it's displayed breaks up the modern text, which is often choppy anyway. Also I'm not interested in teaching my kid a poem that fictionalizes the death of Poe's wife, who he married when he was 27 and she was 13 ?.
CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian I'd love to see this illustrator work on a book about another poet and poem. There are so many better options than Poe. 2y
