I was married in 1988 and the first two songs were prescient: I‘d marry a guy from Norway who spent half his life growing up in Zambia, Africa. When we met, U2‘s song was at the top of the charts and we both loved it so it‘s always been “our song.” Especially when he had to go back home to Norway after we met. So much ❤️ for these 🎶

^^^I got stuck going down an 80s songs rabbit hole for the past hour. I finally realized there were no perfect 3 songs, because they can‘t really be narrowed down that far. So, with the exception of the first song, the others are not top favorites of mine. They‘re just great songs.

Although really, any Prince, Hall & Oats, Whitney Houston, Tears for Fears, Bangles, Bon Jovi, Van Halen & Madonna hit would be right up there along with any sappy love song. 80s music rules!🎤🎶
