The historical vampire thriller that's now an anime! It's the early 20th century and Aoi is a young newspaper reporter investigating a series of grisly murders. When she gets too close to the culprit, she discovers that there is a secret team of vampires working for the military...and that one of the vampires is her supposedly dead friend! This team, known as Code Zero, is the government's best hope at stopping violence caused by other vampires. What on earth has Aoi stepped into?

I hit a mother lode at my local goodwill yesterday. There was so many manga series that had been donated. In pristine condition as well. I only nabbed these because they seemed interesting.i really should stick to reading the local library copies though. Some of these stories have so many issues in their series!

Pickpick

A story set in 1923 Japan about a team of super soldiers that must protect humans from ghoulish vampires. It isn't the action and blind promises that drives the storyline, but the flaws of each character, consequences, and the hardship of loss. I'd recommend this series for readers who love dialogue-driven period pieces mixed with vampires. Fun fact: this started as a stage play #manga
