A solid sequel in this series! I‘m interested to see how the story progresses from here on out and what shenanigans these characters get into next.

I'd missed these characters. The last volume ended on a cliffhanger and we get to see how that all wrapped up. But after that it seemed like we got a lot of random stories that were fun, but didn't add much to the overall story plot. We did start to see some more character development though.
Idk how to describe this one.
It's an odd premise of a cook running a food truck in the middle of nowhere, meets a naked girl in a sleeping bag in the middle of the road, who turns out is wanted by an armed militia. It's too early for an actual storyline in this volume but I'm sure something is going to happen just based on how this volume ended.
I don't think I'm going to continue the rest of this series since I'm not in like with it.

“The Promised Neverland” starts off cute and wholesome, but gets VERY dark very quickly. Do NOT read if you have any triggers regarding harm occurring to children as there are moments that are graphic and physically made me uncomfortable. The premise itself is interesting and I‘m intrigued with how the series will progress, but it also had a bit too much horror for my taste.
This manga is off to a good start when a boy finds himself tricked into delivering food to the village's creepy protector and discovers purpose in supporting him. I'm really enjoying the character development, relationship building, and the slow introduction we are getting to their world. Looking forward to picking up volume 2. #Manga #LGBTQIA
I went in with low expectations for this beautiful guys piece, but it's pretty charming and the art's lovely. The tone reminded me of Native American animal stories where animal characters are often anthropomorphic. It was a bit weird that there were no female characters, which is common to this genre. I enjoyed seeing some of the chatacters' pasts already and hope the next volume dives into more world and character building. #manga #LGBTQIA

This series continues to get better and better! I really enjoyed the humor in this book and I found myself laughing out loud several times.
This might be my favourite volume of the series so far. It's the story about the fish and the robot creature that takes care of it. A lot of depth is revealed here. The philosophical ideas that flew into this chapter, deeply moved also touched me.
