My fiancée gave this manga to me after he finished reading it and I‘m so glad he recommended it. The story and characters are funny, endearing, and even a bit heartwarming. I‘m really enjoying Iruma‘s journey and I will absolutely be picking up the second volume of this series!

Between the demon beauty pageant and the princess attempting to treat the inner circle‘s hangovers, volume 9 had me laughing so hard I cried. Enough said.
pickI read the first three volumes of The Girl from the Other Side. It‘s still early in the story, but I‘m intrigued and picked up the next three installments from my local library. The general plot involves a curse that is passed by touch and which turns typical humans into huge, dark, antelope-like creatures. Which would cool for death-metal bands, but the “insiders” seem to want to avoid such a transformation at all costs

Ok I had to get into the trend! thanks @TheLudicReader ! I really thought I would get Red but it got edged out by orange… which is also accurate. I have not read any of the books they featured but want to read 3 of them and could easily be convinced to read the 4th 😂

I've read both Orange 75% and Red 70% and both feel so like me.
It bothers me a bit that the bottom 2 say A orange instead of AN. (I see the coding error there 😕)

pickI actually preferred this book over the first one in the series. I still like the concept of including art pieces made by actual artists. And it's a fun way to learn about art techniques. It's also nice to follow the progression of the main character.
bailed*Sigh* My second bail of the month. I'm sure this may be interesting to some people, but the first handful of "life lessons" discuss how they decide to wear their hair, what kind of glasses to buy, and what gender to select on their health monitoring app. Not exactly riveting reading for me. I guess it provides insight into the decision making of an intersex person, but that is not what I'm in the mood for now.

I don‘t appreciate Nightfall trying to be a home-wrecker, however the story was funny and entertaining! I‘m very interested to see how the next volume addresses that surprising ending.
