I enjoyed the innocence of this book! Teenage love-no other experience like it. I enjoyed how the main characters used writing and music as a way of therapy and looking to turn their passions into careers. Highly recommend this YA novel!

This YA book really was a celebration of Black community, family, love & coming of age. It was a fun read as an adult too; took me about two chapters in for me to let go of my jaded ways 😅 and it had me laughing, swooning & teary eyed through Prince & Dani‘s self-journey and love story.

I just loved this book. Dani and Prince both go on such moving journeys, and the constant reminders of the power of community - and very specifically Black community - were so important and well-crafted. And the romance was excellent too! #yalit #yaromance
