Six friends.
A lifetime of secrets.
One terrifying game.
When a group of friends receives unexpected invitations to a dinner party, they see it as a chance to finally meet the bizarre and reclusive new neighbor whose home is enshrouded in layers of security.
As the drinks are poured and dinner is served, the group begins to realize things are not what they seem. What starts out as an innocent night of fun soon becomes a seemingly calculated game filled with cryptic messages and chilling revelations.
With no way out, the guests are forced to play along in hopes of escape. Friendships fray, loyalties are tested, and the secrets they've kept from each other are revealed one by one.
Six friends walk into the house that night.
Will six friends make it out?

I listened to the audiobook of this while on a long drive. Unfortunately the dialog seemed really forced; the characters were somewhat confusing and in the end, there was so much procrastination about the true intent of the characters, with no subplot, that I just didn‘t care. The ending was somewhat unrealistic and I‘m not really certain if the original offenders ever got what they deserved. This was a brand new release at my library last month.

Mehso-so

Six friends receive an odd invitation to a newly renovated security outfitted house formerly owned by their friends, an older couple. When they try to leave, they discover the doors are locked. What ensues was to me just plain silly with a convoluted ending,

This book was just okay for me. I felt like it took a really long time to get to the point or for anything to happen. I had a really hard time keeping the characters together in this one, too. I liked the concept and once it got to the point where things were happening, I found it interesting. I just didn‘t feel like it was as exciting as her other books.
