I got to hear Daniel Kraus read from this book and I was hooked. He writes himself as this journalist, who feels like an ethnograpgher, who investigates the Burger City poltergeist. I found this to be quite sad. I think the real horror came from the hopelessness you feel from these teenagers working a fast food joint in rural Iowa and the statistics the journalist in Daniel Kraus keeps supplying you with. A pick but a real downer of a one.
