1. Benny Rose- this novella happens at a carnival and is such a wonderfully creepy read. ☠️
2. Such a Pretty Smile- an abandoned amusement park is the setting of this supernatural creature feature.
3. Black Mouth- coming of age old-school horror with a traveling carnival.
4. Mystery Walk- McCammon is one of my favorite horror authors. Try him out!

I have yet to meet a McGammon book I didn‘t like. I never know what to expect and I feel like his books are always original, well structured and perfectly paced.

Billy Creekmore has a psychic ability, he can see and speak with the dead.

Wayne Falconer, the son of a evangelist. Who travels with his father to preach at revivals. Has healing powers, but there is more to Wayne than meets the eye.

The characters/dialogue were excellent - some were loveable and some I just wanted to throat punch!

Plot is well paced & original.

Another excellent McCammon book full of classic 80s horror style writing where good and evil don't always look the way you expect them too.
