Mehso-so

I‘ve got a soft spot for movie/TV tie-ins. I used to read the books of certificate X films that I was too young to get in to see. First time I‘ve read this one. It‘s a bit average. It pretty much sticks to the film‘s plot with no flourishes. Without Verhoeven‘s distinctive auteurship, the novel loses the dark and absurd qualities of the film and Naha doesn‘t seem to try and recreate them at all with words. 🤖👮🏼‍♀️5/5 Cyborg cops
