pickTruly an everybody book: younger readers may not see the humor. I could see it triggering some anxiety, but then it's really funny. Poopsie turn out to be one tough cookie. The finale reminded me of The Monster at the End of This Book, or The Perfectly Messed-up Story, making Poopsie even funnier, if that's possible after the Rambo reference.
so-soMixed feelings about this one. Illustrations are gorgeous! I wasn't a fan of the humor of the book, however. It had a “let's trick the cat into doing something scary and then laugh about it” feel, which isn‘t my type of humor. But that's just my opinion. Others will find it hilarious. If this is your type of humor, definitely check it out. It's worth it for the illustrations alone. #catsoflitsy
