I'm just reviewing the free module Frozen Sick which I've just finished running. This is free on dndbeyond but also part of the book.

It took my group around seven 2-2.5 hour long sessions to run this. I padded it out with extra things so it would probably be a ten hour adventure if you ran it straight.

⬇️

PuddleJumper It's a very well written module. There are different ways for the party to accomplish things rather than being forced into combat or negotiations.

The last section of the module was the weakest. Travel from Syrinlya to Salsvault takes several days and there wasn't much guidance on how to make that interesting. There are encounter tables you can find online which would make that bit much better.

PuddleJumper Similarly, Salsvault was a bit meh. There were some fun encounters but it lacked flavour. I would pad that out a bit, maybe add in some puzzles or traps.

It works as a one shot or as a stepping off point for more adventures in Wildemount.
