pickAntarctica is very interesting, and this is a great story about wintering over as the Covid-19 pandemic took over the rest of the world. It had everything I wanted in a memoir of life on an isolated, inhospitable, magical frontier. If you like this kind of memoir, 537 Days of Winter won‘t disappoint.
