Starwars, Return of the Jedi: The Storybook Based on the Movie | 
pickPW's bestselling book in the US for 1983 was the "storybook based on" the latest Star Wars film. It has lots of movie stills, and a text (by Joan D Vinge!) targeted at a young audience. It's a piece of marketing, really, and does what it's designed to do, which is make me want to see the movie (again).
