I'm not familiar with the German audiodrama this is based on, but the intro did a good job of catching me up. This was a cute manga and I'm sure the target audience will enjoy it quite a bit. To me, the characters felt super flat, and the premise was unclear. I thought Bibi went to Japan for a short school break, but it seems like she's staying much longer. I did enjoy the general cuteness of this volume though. #Witch #Manga #Adaptation

I think this would work better as a novel. A girl named Miju is an exchange student to Germany from Japan. She makes almost instant friends with Bibi. Just days later they have convinced their parents to let Bibi travel back to Japan with Miju and be an exchange student. The two girls are connected by magic. Bibi is a witch, and Miju is not well explained. The story was nice and easy to follow, but underdeveloped and at times confusing.
