My guilty pleasure: Hardy Boys mysteries! I collect a lot of them secondhand. I don't always keep them, but they are fun to read (and occasionally mock).

pickI just finished this book. It is very informative about all things investigation, while still having that sense of Hardy Boys adventure. I especially loved the chapter on observation and the chapter on surveillance.
