I haven‘t read a Baker & Llewelyn mystery before, but I enjoyed this one and will read others. Set at the end of 1893, and full of interesting historical tidbits, the story moves at a fast pace. The titular characters are enquiry agents, in this case seeking a missing husband who may have found the mummified remains of Cleopatra, and certainly found a priceless gem. Lots of twists, and the final scenes are a hoot.
