1 post
"Hispanic people have contributed much to the United States throughout history and today. Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15 celebrates Hispanic culture and contributions. This book introduces readers to famous Hispanic figures past and present who have made a difference. Photographs of Hispanic parades and famous people will connect readers to the text. Readers will discover a deeper appreciation for Hispanic culture and the ways in which people can celebrate their culture"--

Hispanic Heritage Month has ended and so too has my #ReadingTheAmericas endeavor. I was very excited to start but got bogged down in finding books and slotting them into my other reading. I still plan to read many of the books I found, but not necessarily this year. In addition to three “traditional” book clubs, I‘m participating in #authoramonth and various readalongs.

There‘s more that went into this decision that won‘t fit into 451 characters…

Librarybelle Great job!! 2y
BarbaraBB I completely understand. I keep reading for the challenge but won‘t complete it before the end of the year. So many books & so little time ☺️. You did great however 💕 2y
