Leap, splash, croak, and glide, Amphibians are a wild ride!
I would use this in my classroom to talk about amphibians and what their behaviors are

I loved the illustrations. It was also fun learning more about amphibians
This book is a great book to use for science for all ages. This is a great way to use integrated curriculum because you can work on ELA with poems and reading but it is all about a science concept. This is a fun and engaging way to teach elementary school students about amphibians. It has very fun rhythmic poems but also has a lot of facts about the animals in paragraph form underneath.
“We're amphibians! We breathe through our skin,
we drink the same way: we soak water in,
Through skin that is moist-ily marvelous thin -
Come see our amazing skin“
This book would be good to use in a science class when discussing Amphibians or other facts about them. The book could be used for group projects and each group could pick a poem, then find more facts about what their poem is about.
This book is a poetry book about amphibians and facts about them. The book has poems that have rhymes, onomatopoeias, and many more elements to keep readers engaged. In the poem, I focused on Amphibians and all the types of them. Each page gives facts and a review section of a few animals.
