I got this book as an ARC and went in knowing nothing about it. I was not expecting the book it ended up being at all. The characters have to face the struggles of being actors under the tight thumb of the company they work for while also still being real people. I loved the elements of murder and deception in this, but I thought the ending was clunky and unnecessary. I don‘t think the book needed a cliffhanger like it had. 5⭐️

Dark, addictive and set in Hollywood - the perfect YA thriller. Abel has landed a role in an American tv program, unknown to his fans he is actually an undercover journalist. Set on bringing down the producers and finding justice for his brother. A great set of supporting characters who all have to live in the dark world of revenge and scandal. The book was addictive and can‘t wait to read more by this author.

I‘ve been looking forward to reading this. My daughter read it first! We both met the author at Cheltenham Literature festival and I found him charming and enigmatic. Let‘s hope it doesn‘t disappoint!
