My daughter has just finished the trilogy and said ‘Mum, it‘s your turn now‘. She also said it‘s being made into a Netflix series. Let‘s hope the book is good.
This was such a cute YA read. I didn‘t think I‘d like it as it featured robotics but I was so involved in the story! Bel finds she has a talent for engineering so she‘s encouraged to join the schools robotics club. But she finds it hard to find her place in the team especially with the star captain, Teo. Bel and Teo actually go on to make the team better and Bel proves girls belong in STEM. An adorable, opposites attract romance set in academia.
Marley has to take her best friends place at a wedding venue but when she sees how differently she is treated for having money, she decides to be her best friend (Anna) for the day. Enter Cameron, the hotel manager, Reese, a script writer and Will, an up and coming actor. This story is a tangled web which the reader unravels, and of course there is a which guy will win her heart scenario. Written with warmth, charm and wit.
1. I worked in a shoe shop as a Saturday girl and loved it. The worst paid job ever but 40% staff discount! 👠
2. No. I‘d never have the time 🤣
3. I think it is but it‘s a challenge. I work nights so home all day, no need for childcare but when they are off during the holidays I get no sleep!

Trying to make my way through my kindle TBR list. Starting this next.
A typical suburban area in Bristol. Home to doctors and teachers. Look closer behind the doors and it is not all that it seems. A street full of secrets ready to spill out. Focusing on Tom, the headteacher and his family and their neighbours.
This was such a clever play on what people see and how things can be taken out of context. The theme of being watched makes the book unputdownable. This kept me guessing right to the end.
Set on the Shetland islands and following the lives of three women: Pippa takes a new job delivering bread around the island, Natalia is returning to Lerwick hoping to find her lost love and Autumn, the hotel manager needs to put herself first.
The women are looking for freedom as well as a place to belong. Will they all find what they are looking for? This book has a definite warm, cosy community feeling and explored relatable health issues.
🍁 My grandad. He didn‘t get to see my girls grow up so I‘d have to tell about how special they are ❤️
🍁🍁I‘m fascinated with Tudor England so any year during that period
🍁🍁🍁 A postcard from every place we visit

Third year Ph.D biology student Olive doesn‘t believe in romance. She needs to convince her best friend that she is seeing someone so kisses Professor Carlsen. They both need this fake relationship to work on both parts. That is until the fake relationship becomes something more.
I loved this nerdy story especially the academia style talks. A great set of supporting characters. Favourite character though is Dr. Carlsen: the sweetest guy!
Talking about his life whilst growing up in the spotlight, Tom shares stories from his life on and off the big screen. He tells us about when he first met movie stars such as Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane and Jason Issacs. He goes on to share his highs and lows of being famous and moving to LA. He talks passionately about the importance of good mental health. Told with honesty, charm and wit, this is a must read for any Harry Potter fan.
1. I‘ve never really been one for going to the cinema but give me a bowl of popcorn and I‘ll happily watch a movie at home on the sofa 🍿
2. As a child I always loved to do cross stitch. I still love it but I rarely get time for it.
3. I love to cook at home and we only generally eat our for special occasions.
Finally arrived at my library so of course I had to borrow it. I didn‘t really like Draco as a character so hoping to find out more about the man behind the persona.
The last in the series of the awesome foursome. A enemies-to-lovers rom com. Lily has always lived in her home town whilst all her best friends have left and sought adventure. They are all returning home for Victorias wedding at Hawkesbury estate. The only problem is the estate owner dies, his son (Henry) cancels all bookings at the estate. Lily gets on with everyone except Henry. She is hellbent on having her best friends wedding at the estate.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to wish me happy birthday. A quiet day spent at home with the family and my fur babies. Thank you also for the birthday mail @iread2much @UwannaPublishme @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thank you @dabbe for the e-card ❤️

Meet the Bird family who live in a picture perfect cosy village. Sensible Megan, shy Bethan and twin boys - Rhys and Rory, Colin, their father and beautiful mother Lorelei. One Easter weekend, a tragic event takes place and the family will never be the same again. The family is torn apart and they go on to lead separate lives. Years later they return to their childhood home to find out once for all what happened to their childhood.
Cleo moves to a remote island for some soul searching and a work assignment. What Cleo didn‘t realise was that she would full in love with the island, it‘s way of life and it‘s people. Mac is also looking for solitude, a mix up with the bookings means both have reserved the same lodge but both did not get on from the word go.
Not a typical rom-com, with great female secondary characters and the author has written with honesty and charm. 3⭐️
Send help… I have a broken spaniel 🤣🐾🐶❤️
This crazy dog has kept me company whilst isolating. Covid is all gone and I‘m allowed out! Back to work tomorrow too.
Full of books, friendship and adventures. Milo lives on a magic train with his uncle Horatio. His uncle becomes involved in a dangerous book activity and needs the help of Tilly (the book wanderer). When poisoned books arrive for Horatio and Tilly‘s grandfather, Milo and Tilly set off on an adventure alone. There are so many loose ends now I have to go and get the next book!
Perfect for middle graders and anyone who loves the magic of books.
I loved the first book so was looking forward to this follow up. It didn‘t disappoint. Two strangers are forced to share a New York apartment. Rosie, a new writer with a deadline and Lucas, a Spanish guy with a distracting grin. Lucas offers to help Rosie pen her story with a set of dating experiments - what could go wrong? Full of laughs, one liners and Spanish phrases that were translated luckily!
The perfect summer read ☀️
Been feeling unwell for a few days, at least I know why…how did I get covid!!!!!
Summer holidays for the girls, hubby away working and I‘m currently isolated in my room 😪😷
Found some company though 📖
This was a new book at the library. Archie works at the local newspaper but is never noticed. Esther works as a night cleaner at the newspaper where Archie works. Their paths never cross until one night when a post it note is found by Esther on Archie‘s desk. So begins a relationship whereby they help each other out.
A heartwarming friends to lovers story with drama along the way. The perfect will-they-won‘t-they story for a summer read.
