Happy June everyone ❤️
Charlie is heading to America to spend Christmas with her boyfriend, Harry, in New York. At arrivals, Harry is nowhere to be seen. She‘s all alone in New York so makes a decision to find out the truth -is Harry injured, forgot their plans or worse, ghosted her?
She makes a new friend called Pete, who is welcoming and shows her the big city.
A good solid read that has everything - romance, suspense, Christmas setting and friendship. 4🌟
Had to share this today ❤️

A lovely morning in the forest 🌳 The dogs have been bathed and now fast asleep on the sofa, leaving me in peace to finish my book.

Lana is always in a relationship of some sort. As LA‘s dating columnist, she needs to work on being okay with being alone. Enter Seth, her ex-high school sweetheart. Seth, also a writer takes on an assignment from Lana‘s boss. The assignment means they have to work together. They end up battling against each other but is it their careers or their hearts put on the line?
The side characters were solid and brought the story full circle. 4🌟
Just treated myself to some second hand books. Anybody read any of these? #addtonmytbr #toomanybooks 📖
This mornings walk definitely tired them out! 🐶🐾🐶🐾❤️
London,1938. Gertie is still running her book store even though her husband is a distant memory. In Germany, her friend Charles is bringing back refugee children. With the war at large, people are needed like Gertie to take in a child. Meet Hedy, a young teen girl. Together they run the bookshop and then even make a public shelter. The book follows how their daily lives change, sometimes for the good and others not so good. Such a good read 📖
Who‘s with me on this?
Hope you all have a good week 💕
Starting this tonight. Heard lots of good things.
Shelley, Lena and Pearl decide to book a mini break to Scotland after finishing Christmas preparations. They turn up at a relatives B&B and end up running the establishment and looking after guests. They are snowed in for Christmas and each woman thinks about their current life choices and what they would change. When they finally arrive home, can they go back to their old lives?
A cosy, heartwarming storyline which is perfect for a festive read

1. I prefer sitting up, if I lie down I‘ll fall asleep 😴
2. Tagged. 20% in and giving festive vibes. A nice easy rom-com
Daphne is a successful influencer beginning to accept herself for who she is. Six years ago, she had an argument with her best friend, Drue, they haven‘t seen each other since. Drue walks back into Daphne‘s life and asks her for one favour - be her maid of honour. Letting Drue back into her life carries risks but is this something she is willing to do.
A glamorous and entertaining story about family, friendship and what is important to us.

My score was just 😱
I loved all Roald Dahl books and read them all growing up. Pratchett is so well read in the UK probably down to his witty prose and satirical commentary (Brits love it). Wilson is so famous partly to a lot of her books have been made into tv series.
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day ❤️
#Two4Tuesday
1. I have around 30 physical books and 80 ebooks at home left to read. The problem is my daughter is an avid reader, when she finishes her books, she adds them to my pile 😂
2. Tagged. I couldn‘t put it down. One of my daughter‘s books!
It‘s the simple things…birds singing, a new book, blossom, smell of cut grass and for me…the first cup of tea when I wake up 💕
Sophie has been in Mistingham for one year. Time to move on…or is it? A surprise book lands up in Sophie‘s hands, the only thing , it has a similar story to her own life. Harry, lives in a crumbling Manor House and prefers his own company. A chance meeting and sparks fly. Brought together to arrange the Christmas Fair and with a quirky set of characters. The writing is warm and descriptive, it makes you want to experience the town for yourself.
I‘m proud to be boring and sensible ❤️

Three women just trying to get by. Beth, a business owner, has a new born baby and a happy marriage (or is it?) Ruby, has a beautiful daughter, independent woman but hiding a secret and Lauren, insta star and successful (but for how long?). One event brings these women together but they show that women supporting women can be the strongest thing ever. We need to accept who we are, be happy and find peace. I loved it 4🌟

1. No. Just my card.
2. In this book, Avery inherits a fortune but is chased by many for share.
In the magical town of Oak Haven, magic is not behaving. Scarlett lives in San Francisco and receives a call from her estranged sister and immediately knows something is seriously wrong. She returns home to help and and reunited with her old friends. Scarlett needs to help her family solve this magical mess but some spells come with great danger.
This book had some promising elements but I just didn‘t connect with the characters. 3🌟
A day out at Wyre Forest. A picnic was packed, the dogs jumped in the stream and the girls let off steam. My feet hurt now!
Woke up to this view. They both just melt my heart ♥️
