A neurodivergent girl called Addie learns at school that her hometown burnt witches because they were deemed different. The witches were just like Addie - different. Addie works to start up a memorial to remember those who were punished.
Addie shows great power and strength unlike some of the adults in her life. It is a touching and powerful book. This book needs to be in every classroom and adults made to read it too!
Picked this up from the library earlier and starting tonight. 🛌

This has been on my book shelf for a few years. A whopping 756 pages!
Twilight was an iconic love story. I loved all the books and the movies. The books only told Bella‘s story but Midnight Sun tells Edward‘s version.
Starting on the first day they meet at school, the reader finds out unknown details about Edwards life, family and how his thoughts work.
It was so easy to immerse myself back into the world of vampires.

I took my mum to the Garden and Food show today in Birmingham. There were some stunning floral displays and so many hand crafted items. The food was amazing too! 🌺
Somebody is starting to feel better…the sock thief is back 🤣 One more check up in Friday before we are signed off from the vet. Thank you to all who sent well wishes for Belle 🐾❤️🐶

1. I‘m a cover girl. I used to read according to how long I had the book but now I choose the cover according to my mood 😊
2. If he had been with me by Laura Nowlin.
I was born in the 80s so did much better this week than last week. There were some great movies on the list.
Top 3: Top Gun, Karate Kid and Annie.
Brought back many memories of watching them at Christmas or if I was ill. They really don‘t make them like they used to! These lists are great to do. Thank you Denise xx
Beau, ex military hero trying to deal with his tortured past. Bailey, a young woman with a notorious family name. After agreeing on a bet which will help them both out with their family and current life choices, can they keep to the agreement? Lines become blurred and feelings become confusing.
I love the returning characters from previous books in the series. Great pacing throughoutand surprising reveals. I now need to read the next series.,

1. I don‘t but a good summer book has to keep my attention and be an easy, light read. 📕
2. We have a log cabin booked the the Snowdonia mountains in Wales 🏴
3. Im‘ grateful that Belle is home from the vets, after a scary few days or sitting and waiting. Tri surgeries later and she‘s home with us ❤️🐾
Reading the last in the series. Don‘t want it to end. 🤣#eatonbrothers #chestnutsprings
We‘re back home now after a brilliant week away in Cornwall. Going to catch up with Litsy and try and finish the last book in the current series I‘m reading (tagged)
Happy June everyone. Hope you all have a good weekend ❤️

1. The beaches at Cornwall where we are staying
2. I got my car back 🚗
3. The scenery at Cornwall
4. I brought lots of new wax melts to try out
5. I‘ve finished two books on my holiday, only one left in the series.
Theo, a bull rider, ladies man and trouble is looking Winters Way. Winter has just left her husband & needs to concentrate on herself. Theo begins to melt Winters icy exterior. It was meant to be a one time thing but they will be intrinsically linked forever.
This is a deep, emotional read about a woman who basically hates herself. She doesn‘t think she deserves love. After meeting Winter, Theo changed his whole perspective on life. A great read
Spent a brilliant afternoon walking along the South West Coastal path. Duckpool beach was beautiful ❤️
Lola‘s first visit to the beach! She loved running in the sand and looking in the rock pools. ❤️🐾🐶💕
We made it to our beach house in Cornwall. Look what I found in the lounge next to the log burner….. not enough time to read them all 🤣
Two childhood friends with broken hearts but for different reasons. The third in the series and the best one so far! Jasper, the handsome athlete and hockey star. Sloane, the rich girl who wants to please her father. Their feelings are interlinked and are never straight forward. I loved the fact that previous characters from book one and two are still in this book too! I can‘t read to read the next in the series
4🌟

Sorry about the bad score! 🤣
There were so many I hadn‘t heard of! 🎵
#wondrouswednesday
1. Twilight - I read it when I was pregnant with my first, Keira is now 17, it‘s well read!
2. I loved reading Sophie Kinsella at that age
3. I‘m going to be greedy and choose two - Twilight and Harry Potter and the philosophers stone 🧙
Book 3 in the series …loving them all so far. ❤️📕
Cade is looking for a nanny for his son, Luke. Willa arrives in town and the rules are simple - look after Luke. The issue is they can‘t keep their eyes off each other. One night in the hot tub changes how they see each other. Willas contract is for two months but will it be changed to forever.
Cade sounded so grumpy and scowling but was a doting dad. Willa is loud, witty and carefree.
A slow burn read with a great set of characters.
What Saturday afternoons are made for 💤

Just finished the first in the series, now on to the next….hope it‘s as good as the first one
Summer has a messy and complicated family life. Rhett has a successful career in bull riding but is searching for something, but he doesn‘t know what. Sparks fly when Summer is sent to ‘baby sit‘ Rhett by her father who happens to be Rhett‘s agent. The tension and banter make for great reading. Full of heart and a great set of secondary characters who you can‘t help but love too. Can‘t wait to read the next in the series.
Well it‘s been a tough week, I had a car accident on Tuesday. Thankfully not my fault but due to the nature of the impact I‘ve jarred my back, neck and shoulder. My anxiety has been through the roof and I haven‘t been sleeping well. Today they took my car to be assessed. Things could have been a lot worse but it‘s made me really nervous to get back in a car. I‘ve been at home for three days resting but managed to read quite a bit. Xx
Just got back from a walk and I took photos of all the amazing post box toppers I found, they‘ve all been made by the ‘Worcester Knit, knit and natter group‘ How many do you recognise? 🧶 📪

1. My first visit to the library was with my nan, it was the summer holidays and I was around 9 years old. I walked in and was amazed at the books. I visited every week of the holidays and read so many books!
2. Flawless by Elsie Silver
Prue lives in London with her father who is blind. She‘s quiet, likes to go unnoticed but she has a birthmark on her face that people tend to notice. They live together in solitude and very rarely venture outside. An event happens that forces Prue go outside into the unknown, she accompanies her father and they begin to realise what they‘ve both been missing.
This was a beautiful heart-warming story about family, friendship and facing your fears
Another book from my kindle…slowly getting though them!
A lovely morning out on the fields. 🐾💕🐶☀️
Home now for strawberry and watermelon ice cubes

Great idea @WildAlaskaBibliophile
1. I love all the Murder Most Unladylike booksI can‘t choose one. Such a great middle grade series. 📕
2. Has to be poached egg on warm buttery toast 🥚
I was really looking forward to reading this but I felt it promised lots but didn‘t deliver. Maggie lives with her father in the Tower of London. She‘s just broken up with her long term boyfriend. An encounter with a Royal Guard forces Maggie to decide not to give up on love. After joining Tinder and going on some hilarious dates, will she ever pluck up the courage to go after what she really wants?
A clean romance filled with history and fun.
The bluebells were in full bloom today ❤️🐾🐶
