

4⭐️ It‘s a story about 2 fathers and 2 sons, and how they differ in their thinking and POV. In today‘s context, this would be Gen X vs Gen Z. As a Gen X myself, I totally relate with the fathers but I wonder how I‘d think about this novel if I were to read it when I was in my early 20s 🤔
DGRachel I read this when I was 17. I don‘t remember much about it except that I LOVED it (and 30 years later I think it‘s one of the few Russian novels I‘ve been able to get through 😂) 1mo
sisilia @DGRachel Haha I can understand that. His writing is compact and to the point. I like Russian lit; they tickle your compassion 1mo
