-Wow, I loved this! I‘m usually pretty stoked when I find my old love (romance) and my new love (thriller) coexisting and not being overly cheesy.
-Fantastic narration
-I loved the nod to my hometown.

-Not a con for me…but if you don‘t like romance in your thrillers then you probably won‘t like this because it‘s romance-heavy.
-Pacing issues…although I wasn‘t affected too much by these, others were.

I really enjoyed this thriller and had trouble putting it down. The story starts with a confusing text from a man she loved, sent five years after he disappeared from her life and several years after she saw an obituary for him. Determined to figure out what happened, both for her and their young son, she finds a series of strange goings on at the family company. The characters, the action and the romance were all very entertaining. 4.5/5 stars!

Computer geeks and mystery fans will enjoy this book even though it‘s a bit frightening what can be found and hacked.

Lots of secrets, illegal transactions, shady characters, and a few unrealistic but good things that do happen.

This was my first book by this author, and I truly enjoyed it. 4/5

Would I call this a mystery? Or a tale of a woman who couldn‘t get over a fling she thought was love? There‘s ghosting &mysterious text msg years later, but honestly, Ariel knew him for 3mths & I would have moved on &ignored the text.

If you can get past how much Ariel obsesses over Drew, then you get a decent mystery. Her family owns Chime & she stumbles onto some possibly illegal activity that may be connected to Drew vanishing.
