REVIEW 5/8.

According to Florence‘s father, she committed something so immortal he couldn‘t have her in his house anymore.

He kicked her out, but not before she saw a letter from a man who needed his books rebound.

Florence scooped up the letter and made her way to Rose Hall.

Quite a few secrets were hiding within the walls of Rose Hall and many conniving characters. There are also some delicate subjects discussed. 4/5

Ohhhh..this is a good one!!

Hazel‘s father died, and in addition to the shock of his death was the shock that he left the family home ONLY to her and not her brothers. That caused a good deal of bad feelings.

While she was home for the funeral more shocking things happened.

Ms. Miranda certainly knows how to weave a storyline.

You won‘t be able to put DAUGHTER OF MINE down. 5/5

What a heartwarming, cozy, feel good read.....a sweet, nostalgic book...but with all good things there usually are regrets, heartbreak, and secrets.

You will be surprised at who/what the “good daughters” turn out to be and will also learn some fun agricultural facts about fruits and vegetables.

Why did her mother want her to go to Paris?

Stella liked her quiet, solitary life and her predictable job at the publishing house, but off to Paris she went.

You will love the characters - eccentric, sweet, and loving.

And of course you will fall in love with Paris.

A delightful, breezy read, but don‘t read this book if you are hungry. 5/5

This book is filled with family drama along with some unlawful and tense situations and decisions.

The ending is very tense, and the cult business was frightening and upsetting. 4/5

What a wonderful history lesson and beautifully written book.

I have never heard of these ships that took female prisoners from England to Australia to work off their sentences and who were charged with crimes of no consequence such as stealing a spoon.

Ms. Kline has done impeccable research and enlightened us about this time in history and had me looking up Mathinna, the prisons, and Hobart Town.

Savannah‘s fiancée had just broken up with her after she told him she had Lupus, and she knew going to visit her Aunt Eleanor was sure to be helpful.

A refreshing, sweet, you-need-it read.

What could go wrong in a quaint, beautiful villa in Southern France?? 

Quite a few things.

The ending was typical, amazing Mr. Logan that was oh so good and satisfying because most of the characters were not likeable.
