Fun. Epic
I enjoyed the different lives of the four sisters. It has been a long time since I read the Thorn Birds. Maybe I should read it in 2020.
With this book, I have completed #PopSugar2019 (title with bitter and sweet). I completed Booked2019, ReadHarder2019, and AtoZLitsy2019. I still have 16 to read for AroundtheWorld2019. I won't worry; it has been great fun and I'll read them in 2020.
Candy corn yes — all flavors under the sun
Black licorice no — I‘ve never acquired the taste, tho I‘m starting to like Italian anisettes
Gummi yes but not worms, or spiders, or creepy things. Bears and other animals welcome.
I love dark chocolate—DARK, and white chocolate sometimes, and nuts, especially hazelnuts, and coconut, and fruit flavors. And I like authentic Turkish delight.

I don‘t have any sisters but this story made me wish I had had the support, closeness, understanding and love of a sister. While these 4 sisters start out all on the same path, through the years each finds their own way yet manage to maintain that something special I imagine sisters to have. Another solid story set in Australia from Colleen McCullough.
