Love runs wild on the Appalachian Trail in the latest from the author of Out of Frame and Focus on Me... Levi Grainger needs a break. As a reality show star, he’s had enough of the spotlight and being edited into a walking stereotype. When he returns home after the last season of Trip League, he expects to spend time with his family, only to learn his sister is coming back from her deployment in a flag-draped casket. Devastated, Levi decides the best way to grieve will be to go off grid and hike the Appalachian Trail—a trip he'd planned to do with his sister. His solitary existence on the trail is interrupted when he meets Thad, a quiet man with a hard body and intense eyes. Their connection is stronger than anything Levi has ever experienced. But when Levi discovers the truth about what Thad is hiking to escape, their future together looks uncertain, and uncertainty is the last thing Levi needs... Praise for the In Focus Series “Erickson displays fantastic writing. She brings the road trip to life and delivers banter and sizzle with ease.”—RT Book Reviews “Credible characterizations and a sensitive ear for the ways men talk about love and sex make this a delectable summer read.”—Publishers Weekly “This author writes the best sexual tension and sex scenes...They have great chemistry and the romance is both sweet and intense.”—Smexy Books “It’s a roller coaster of happiness and sadness...This book is just so much. I loved it.”—Fiction Vixen

This almost melted my icy heart. Cheeky and headstrong Levi won me over with his first person POV despite the fact that I usually give first person the side eye. The other hero is the silent and strong type who is often infuriating. Their chemistry is off the charts, and genuine conflict abounds. The narrator of the audio sometimes sounded too old, but it's ok because southern accent. #romance #queer #romantsy

This is the 4th book in Megan Erickson's male/male romance In Focus but it can absolutely be read alone and you won't be lost at all. ~Melinda

(4 stars) Three Thoughts 1) no one writes moody swoony boys like Erickson & she doesn't disappoint with Levi & Thad 2) possibly my favorite in the whole series...a quick heartachy read 3) read in a day and was so sad it ended

CaitlinSiem Sounds like I have a new series to check out 🤔 8y
Irisheyz77 @CaitlinSiem the books are all just loosely connected so can pretty much be read in any order. Books 2 & 4 were my favorites. 😊 8y
