Mary Robinson has a new stepdad and is jealous of the time he spends with her mom, whom she was recently reunited with after years of being in foster care. Her grades start slipping and she stops spending time with her friends because she tries to spend as much time with her mom as she can. She also tells a bunch of lies about her stepdad, trying to make it seem like he has a lot of money, an important job and a new yacht. The yacht is actually ⬇️

JenlovesJT47 A dilapidated tugboat. Her parents and friends decide to throw her a surprise birthday party on the boat. When Liz spills the beans about the party, Mary is mortified about her friends finding out about the tugboat and tries to run away. She trips over her bike on the way out the door and breaks her arm. She bonds with Tim when he takes her to the E.R. and she decides to suck it up and go to the party anyway. Her parents have renovated the boat⬇️ 2mo

After Mary Robinson‘s mother got remarried, no one has seen much of her. She rushes home, skipping Unicorn and Sixers meetings. Embarrassed to admit she misses being alone with her mom, Mary makes everything worse by embellishing on her stepdad‘s handyman job and his new boat. It gets so out of hand, even rich Lila Fowler is jealous! When her parents plan a surprise party on the tugboat, Mary almost runs away to escape the embarrassment!
