

Conflicted. I like the originality of the story, yet it still felt flat to me. I wanted to learn more about the world around Teia. Teia went back and forth in desire, which, sure, is morally gray, though I didn‘t feel it from her. I would‘ve like to get more of her inner thoughts about where she was going. Same with the element bending. That ending twist was really well placed. This is still a fun book to read, especially as a debut
