These characters and this story were fabulous.I love how unconventional Shupe‘s ladies are.They are so fun to read. And Quint was hilarious -he‘s so smart and logical. I loved it.

Sophie Barnes is an investigator-she‘s hunting the man that has been killing sex workers.She‘s also a lords daughter so she doing this dressed as a man.Quint has PTSD, but is sure he‘s going insane.While he loves Sophie he feels he can‘t marry her, but he will help her.

I'm about halfway through this book and I'm loving it so far. It has just enough crazy pants elements and I love that it's not afraid to deal with PTSD and mental illness without making the feel too modern.
