#JulyJazz Day 1: #CanadaDay for illustrator Lauren Tamaki who lives partly in Canada. There is so much beauty here, and grief, and also the intangibles of the imperishable. I especially loved reading the Author‘s Note which adds a deeper layer of intersectionality into the narrative. This is a must-read for everyone. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-rjb
