pickThis was a super unsettling novel that I think might have done well with some trigger warnings. Laelia and her family stay in Belize after a family holiday goes wrong. A creepy story where I was never quite sure who was good and who wasn‘t.. Beautifully written I love how the jungle (and the orchids) became part of the tense, tight atmosphere 📸 is actually Costa Rica
