My third book for the #ChristmasCrimeChallenge
Snowflake - set during winter/in snow
A bit cringe, but great setting. The vibe is Willy Wonka meets FNAF, but sadly it wasn't horror. It's a mystery that is a bit too easy to solve and where the characters are so annoying that I was rooting for the murderer. It took way too long for the murders to start while I had to suffer through backstories that hinted at terrible secrets. Still, entertaining.

This was a veritable festive bloodbath!

A group of VIPs get locked in a Christmas department store by a Poundland Wonka handing out sus hot chocolates... CHAOS ENSUES.

This was packed full of secrets, deception, gaslamps, creepy passages, automata, firelight, and one grisly grotto. Twists and turns galore, this was a high adrenaline page turner that somehow still managed to feel Christmassy.

Loved it.
