Fourth Estate | Jeffrey Archer, Archer
4 posts | 20 read | 2 to read
At first glance, Richard Armstrong and Keith Townsend seemed to have little in common. One was the son of an illiterate peasant, living in a Europe ravaged by war. The other lived in a mansion on the far side of the world while the war was just a piece of news. But they did have one thing in common. Both of them were gamblers.

This was another good read, as you would expect. Clear who this was modelled on.

2nd book finished for #20in4 Readathon. A lot of a #Chunkster at 742 Pages.

PaperbackPirate I bet that was an interesting book. 😬 3y

Great read... Good fills you with inspiration and takes you to the reality of success.... Book has been inspired by the real life rivalry between Robert Murdoch and Robert Maxwell
