Not my favourite Wallander book so far. Too many nonsensical decisions by Wallander this time around for me. But an ok read nonetheless.

HardcoverHearts One of my favorite genres is mysteries in translation! You can learn so much about culture norms, other country's jurisprudence and you can get a great story to boot. 7y

JulieAnn @Angelala007 yes I did. I liked both of them. They are definitely darker than the usual mysteries I read! Wallander is a great character. 8y
Angelala007 @JulieAnn I totally agree about Wallander. After Faceless Killers I was hooked. I have the same feelings about Peter Robinson's Inspector Banks. And my husband thinks Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch is a real person. 😜💙 8y
JulieAnn @Angelala007 I love Inspector Banks. I've read them all! Also I recently discovered Hulu has the DCI Banks tv series! I've never read the Bosch series but Mark Billinghams DI Thorne series is also really really good. Bosch is a real person on Amazon, right? 😃 8y

JulieAnn @Angelala007 that's great! Tell him I feel the same way when I get an email from one of my authors. I've gotten a reply from one of them from a question on Facebook and I about died! Lol. I'm sure it was an assistant but it made me smile. I hope you like DI Thorne. There's just something about him 8y
