Wow, an array of engaging short stories, some of which are brazenly feminist and sensual. They are a creative and often moving exploration of sexuality, religion, death, love, life purpose, and fulfillment that I wasn‘t expecting given the author‘s background. Many beautiful turns of phrase marked and definitely worthy of dipping in & out of again in the future.

Thrifty book haul. I‘m most interested in the tagged book because of the author profile. 😁 Only speaks Arabic, no university education, and limited exposure to the West.

Some great #translatedbooks for #somethingforsept #photochallenge. These books are translated from Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic and French. I've rearranged my bookshelves so I'm having a hard time finding all my books. 😳 It's almost like discovering my books each time I find the one I'm looking for!
