In the sequel to Garnethill Maureen is still living with the repercussions of all the trauma she has experienced. When her friend asks her to look into the disappearance of a woman from a domestic violence shelter Maureen throws herself into a reckless investigation with a complete lack of self preservation. A vivid, gritty story with a flawed heroine you just want to see doing better. Looking forward to the final book in the trilogy.
