In this explosive new thriller, one of the most incredible and frightening discoveries mankind has ever faced is about to surface. On an oil platform in the middle of the North Atlantic, a terrifying series of illnesses is spreading through the crew. When expert naval doctor Peter Crane is flown in, he finds his real destination is not the platform itself but Deep Storm: a top secret aquatic science facility, two miles below on the ocean floor. And as Crane soon learns, the covert operation he finds there is concealing something far more sinister than a medical mystery-and much more deadly. From the Paperback edition.

Continuing with my addiction to Preston & Child. Loving Lincoln Child‘s Deep Sea. Any book where the location or atmosphere is a main character I‘m hooked. Keeps me guessing.

Mom‘s pick for the family book club this month. Cover on the kindle is boring. So talked Sheba in to looking at the camera. There may have been treats involved. ❤️🐾📚

Pickpick

Really liked the premise of the book. I was interested and invested throughout the book. My only complaint is that there were a lot of super technical medical terms I was unfamiliar with that did not have explanations inside the text. Googling the meaning forced me out of the story. Can't wait to read the next one!

This was not a great book. I finished it but really had no interest in the ending.
