#12Booksof24 I‘m a few days late starting this challenge, but here‘s my picks for the first months of this year. January - Revenge by Tom Bower( Meghan is awful)plus it was the only book I read in January!
February - House of Flame & Shadow by Sarah.J.Maas March - Aurora Rising by Alistair Reynolds, one of the best scifi series I‘ve read.

Equal Rites | Terry Pratchett

Pratchett is always a favorite. 😍 When I have read all the Discworld books, I can think about ranking them. I know that this one is a favorite among many. It introduces Granny Weatherwax, who will return in later books and it has a much more cohesive plot than the two preceding books.

julesG It's not my favourite of the Witches books, but it shows how Pratchett has grown as an author, compared to Colour of Magic for example 1d
Andrew65 A very popular author. 21h
Ruthiella @julesG It‘s so far the only Witches book I‘ve read. 100% agree that it demonstrates Pratchett‘s growth. I‘ve got 33 books left to read in the Discworld and it‘s so exciting! (edited) 19h

I started this with the #HashtagBrigade in January and didn‘t finish it until March, actually. Not my favorite book of all time or even Dostoyevsky, but one that will stick with me for a long while.

The Dispossessed | Ursula K. LeGuin

I read a lot of good things in January 2024 but I think this is the one that will stay with me the longest. Only the third book I have read from LeGuin, but it‘s my kind of science fiction because it makes me think hard about the past, present and future and provides different ways of looking at the world.
