This book delves into philosophical principles such as metaphysics and epistemology from a Christian perspective albeit Catholic. It responds to these questions not in further abstract concepts but in the person of Jesus Christ. It boldly claims that all the answers to the questions you have can be found in Him.

This is the case which served as the hallmark of DNA genealogy used to solve crimes. It seemed to be happenstance that a woman CeCe Moore in California began investigating genetic genealogy not realizing that she was about to fall into a rabbit hole. Since then, she was able to lend her knowledge of this technology to solve crimes. That's where Detective Jim Scharf comes in to solve a cold case of a double murder: Tanya Van Cuylenborg /Jay Cook.

Just started the tagged - so it can't count!

The third one is listed as nonfiction - it was a quick fun read for anyone who reads cozy mysteries that take place in a quaint English village.

Thanks for the tag @TheSpineView - took me a while to think about and review the books I've read in the past few years ( I don't read much non-fiction)

The story of the cancer cells which became one of the most important tools in medicine. It deals with both the historical aspects as well as the fallout on her descendants. Also tackles the legalities of human tissue samples.

Libro pesante, impegnativo, che fa riflettere, forse anche troppo. Una soddisfazione arrivare fino alla fine e forse il libro più bello che mi letto. In qualche modo ti cambia.

I greatly enjoyed this book. Some of this information was absolutely revolutionary to me. Some of it I already knew, but he took those a step or more - further than I dared take them previously - to their logical end. There is nothing shocking about this book, honestly.

GingerAntics If one has thought critically about all the stories one has been told as a child and compared them with the actions of the story tellers, this falls right in line with what you already know, but adds more to broaden that understanding. I can definitely see this as a conversation starter for the open minded, and would gladly read it again with a good group. 3mo

The scientific breakthroughs and advancements from Ms. Lacks' cells is utterly astounding! I couldn't help wondering where would we be if she wasn't born or didn't get sick or didn't live near Johns Hopkins. The way the stars aligned just so for HeLa cells to come to be kinda makes ya wonder 😇
