This Christmas I got a Civil War book from my brother-in-law (tagged) and met my grand niece Puzzles (pictured).
pickThis was a wonderful read, but brutal in places. It‘s a coming-of-age tale about a boy searching for his father who is in the Confederate Army. He finds him at Gettysburg. The writing is pitch perfect as far as characters and their voices. There are spots where it‘s not for the faint of heart, but it was so worth it. And it was a Little Free Library find (and returned)! A surprising find, that I recommend!
