so-soI love reading J-Co books, but this series, read in order this time, is my least favorite. The lack of communication between sweet intelligent teachers David and Maggie is old by book 3, and by the time it finally resolved I was bored of reading it. And the girls - one grows big boobs, one is gay (oh, so that‘s why she‘s rockin‘ an unfashionable pixie cut - argh), one remains a brat …yawn.

marleed @KadaGul oh I agree, she‘s convinced me to add Scotland to my bucket list. This series was written earlier and re-released with new titles. I think she writes with more sensitivity (less stereotyping) in her later works. Even though this is my least favorite series, I‘ll continue if there‘s a book 4 because I just can‘t quit a J-Co series! 12mo
