so-soI just finished this, and have no idea what to think. I don't think I enjoyed it, but I like the premise and sentiment behind it?
Also I heard on the Book Riot podcast how apparently the woman who did the translation made changes (probably inadvertently), and so that distracted me too. Simple things in the beginning didn't seem to make logistical sense.

I read this #manbookerwinner from 2011 a while back with my book club and loved it.... browsing the movie listings last night I happened upon the movie adaptation... I'd not even heard about it! So went to see it today, and it was wonderful... Jim Broadbent was amazing in the lead role 😍🎥
