This book is so cute and funny! The illustrations keep the reader engaged as they are very animated and expressive. This is a great start to chapter book reading for children. They chapters are only a few pages long and with the illustrations make them shorter as well.

A lesson that can be taken from this story is if you are mindful and unproblematic, good things come back to you! All Mercy wanted was some toast, and toast she got.
