I loved the premise of this book - learning about the unspoken cultural differences between Western culture (where I live & read the Bible) and Eastern culture (where the Bible was actually written), and I thought the authors put the information together in a way that was relatable & informative without being condescending.
I enjoy approaching my faith intellectually instead of only emotionally, and this helped me do that.
So the results are in from my biopsies. It‘s stage 1. Hello 5th ride on the cancer bus. Looks like my road warn Bible and I are making another trip.
Try and live everyday that you have to the best it can be. 🐝
The book of psalms, written by King David. Written in a format of song lyrics and poetic telling of the Lord our God, singing in hymns and praises as he shows his prayers to God in forms of songs and poems.
I finished this season‘s reread on April 5, 2023. Next season I plan on reading a chronological version and it will be super cool.
