Two modern day women struggling with different issues meet and find a journal belonging to a woman from the past. Through friendship and faith they find hope and healing, even as they track down the story of the journal writer. Although predictable and formulaic, it was still a pleasant read.

I‘m a sucker for stories about pets and how much unconditional love they give. Eric finds God, becomes vegan, starts dating again, eventually marries, and runs marathons all because Peety came into his life.

Video about Eric and Peety:-)

YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES. Anyone going through a wait in their life should read this book. Goodness me, I feel so blessed after reading this. Wendy Pope is soooo honest and encouraging. She doesn't butter things up, she tells it like it is. Being a Christian is tough and she doesn't shy away from that fact, but she gives us the tools to help us on our journey and combat the uninviteds!

Excellent book to help a child deal with the death of a loved one. Gives them an explanation of death from the Christian worldview and let's them know their loved one is happy in Heaven. It tells them that it's ok to be sad and even angry but gives them encouragement that they will be happy again someday. It encourages them to talk to someone about their feelings and that it's safe to tell God exactly how they feel. #christianbook #childrensbook
