Finally! I haven‘t been able to read physical books for a while, so it was nice to finally be able to finish this book. Very scary. I know there have been outbreaks of Ebola virus in the past but I hope there are none in our future. Unfortunately, we lose a major character in this book and it‘s someone you‘d think was invincible. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

Andrew65 Excellent 👏👏👏 An author I am yet to try. 8mo
deeannloso @Andrew65 You really should. This is a great series. The Agent Maggie O‘Dell continues on into the next series, Ryder Creed series, which is also very good. 8mo
Andrew65 @deeannloso Thanks for the recommendation 😁 8mo

“Maggie O‘Dell and AD Cunningham believed the threat targeted Quantico. It targeted them. A deadly virus—virtually undetectable until it causes death from a million internal cuts. The victims appear random, but Maggie wonders if vengeance isn‘t the guiding hand..Maggie knows dangerous minds, but she must tackle this new opponent from within a biosafety isolation ward—while waiting to see if death is already multiplying inside her body.”

tpixie I totally forgot about this author. I read her decades ago I loved her books. Wow thanks for the reminder! 9mo
deeannloso @tpixie No problem. I read the series a few years ago. I thought I‘d go back and reread it. 😊📚 9mo

Finally! It took me a while to finish this one due to fibromyalgia/migraines, but I finally crossed the finish line. This is a great book with Maggie meeting up again with Father Keller and former Sheriff-turned prosecutor for Suffolk County, Nick Morrelli. Will Father Keller be brought to justice this time? Hmmm.. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

Andrew65 Well done and with persevering to get this finished 👏👏👏 9mo

“When a monsignor is found knifed to death in a Nebraska airport restroom, Maggie O‘Dell is called in to profile the ritualistic murder of a priest, the latest in a series of killings. Maggie soon discovers a disturbing Internet game that‘s popular among victims of abuse by Catholic priests. With this first real lead in the investigation, she wonders if the group has turned cyberspace justice into reality.”

Working my way through Sue Grafton‘s Kinsey Milhone books on audiobook while doing chores. The tagged book was the best of the four in my opinion, and H is for Homicide was my least favorite. I am enjoying them keeping me company during chores.

This was definitely not the book I expected from the cover. Sometimes you can be fooled by covers. However despite this it was an excellent detective book set in Venice with a Locked Room murder involved. Liked the lead detective and his girlfriend and can‘t wait to read others in the series.

Book 8 finished for #JubilantJuly

PaperbackPirate 8 books! 👏 Keep it up! 📚📚📚 2y

Detective Kling‘s girlfriend is gunned down in a bookstore, along with three other people, which makes this personal for the detectives of the 87th Precinct. This was an unusually twisty mystery in this series that did a good job of giving the reader the same tunnel vision as the detectives. CW for rape and abortion.

1. In grateful for Louise Penny. She not only created a great character in Armand Gamache, but also she‘s a very passionate advocate for the mystery genre.
2. Not specifically. Maybe I should start doing that?
3. I‘m grateful for all of the Alphabet books. The series was my “gateway” to mysteries back in the day, and that‘s enriched my reading life greatly ever since.
