Balibee146 @gissy as far as I remember it had some good passages but interspersed with long stretches of tedium... Probably made worse that I was reading with a view to essay and exam answers. My main memory was that, even as a young woman, I found it a bit try hard intellectually elitist.... Wonder what I'd think of it now that I've mellowed somewhat (but not enough for a re read 🤣😉) 1mo
