I absolutely devoured this the other night as I was in the first one hundred pages and then I was done and couldn't believe it!

Once I got into it, I found it to be quiet enchanting as I come into books with little to no expectations especially when it's a new to me author, like this one, but this was quite a fun read.

I've had this one on my TBR for a while but I never felt in the mood but once I saw that Curry narrated the audio, I needed to give it a listen!

The whole book just takes me back to the way fantasy books used to be written with heavy world building and so much detailing!

Plus I loved Sabriel's portrayal in the book. She's young and unsure at the beginning. It's been a while since I've read a character like her.

This was my first Briscoe book and it was a solid read.
I found I liked the Mason POV chapters more overall and his character was well rounded and more interesting to me than Karina's.

I liked the overall pacing of the story, but not having read the other books in the series, the subplot of the Moonshine case was a bit meh for me but I'm sure it works in the larger sense .

Lots more movement is happening and a lot with the kids at the college but I think we're starting to see something interesting here as it feels like this volume might be opening up to the next story arc, and maybe, a connection between the original Chise and Co. and her new friends at the college.

Omg what an illegal cliffhanger!!!!!
Idk when the next volume is happening but I am psyched for it.

Liu has a great way of writing tension and that fact that it's been every volume highlighting different arcs but all tying together is intensive but I am here for it.

This was cute, a bit messy for me but cute. And I say messy because a lot happened but there was no sense of time so I didn't and couldn't figure out how much time had passed from one chapter to the next to try have time or a plot.

Not sure if I want to continue the rest of the series but this was cute and fun.

Solid 3.5 ⭐
I have to give it to Briggs, with my time lapse from the last book to now, it felt like I lost a few minutes between books as Briggs didn't reference too much into the past six books but moved right into this new chapter for Mercy Thompson which still has me shaking my head at her and her quick wit that leads her into trouble.

I can't believe it's over...
it took me a while to getting around to this trilogy after Fangirl mainly because I wasn't sure what to expect but I don't know why I doubt. Rowell gave me a fantastic set of characters that outgrew what I knew from their first iteration and she added depth, layers, and growth all throughout. So freaking well done!!

An adorably drawn ode to platonic love.
It's sparse but that's the beauty of it as I kept flipping the pages because the few intersected words work hand in hand with the matching illustrations.

In hindsight, this feels like an unsent letter or text. The thing that gets written in deep thought as we think about, or maybe overthink, about something. It's short and well written.

I love the progression of the characters from book one till now!

Having been able to read them rather one after the other definitely helps to see the progression as I appreciate that Stroud doesn't talk about the past books too much as some others, but more as a quick note and in the form of a memory or a past conversation that is coming back to the current story.
